Archduke/Grand Duke: is a duke related to a king or emperor. Prince: son of king or emperor (either by birth or by adoption). He may not even exercise the command directly. If he does, he could have any ancillary title (from Baron to Grand Duke). He is called the crown prince if he is destined to rule after the death of the ruler in office. King: ruler of a very extensive possession, whose territories are ruled by Archdukes, Dukes ... Emperor: ruler of a group of independent possessions, ruled in turn by kings, Archdukes, Dukes, etc. |
